Hi,

This is my first year in doing the event and I have a question.
3. Fly General Aviation flight FROM where you landed in #2, TO your HOME airport*

Is it allowed to land en-route to take on fuel?
I want to "FROM where you landed in #2" depart FAOR too FACT (home base) , the distance is 688nm.
My GA Commander 114 has a range of 619nm, So I want to land at FAKM to take on fuel.

If yes, do I file a flight FAOR - FAKM - FACT?

Thanks,
Jannie
Thanks

So leg #3 would be filed as FAOR - FACT. Put in your flight comments that you landed @ FAKM for refueling. Happy Holidays!

Just a friendly reminder to use the re-fueling stop in myAAS2 at FAKM instead of flight complete.

Might be a stupid and noob question, but want to make sure I am doing stuff correct.
After completing the "home for the holidays event", can I continue on from my home airport and fly, or do I have to hang at my home airport till after 31 Dec?
Thanks

You can continue to fly, now that you have performed the flights you're good to go..

What a great event. Been flying this event since 2011. This years flights were as follows,

1) Special Crew Pass Flight - KPHX to KCLE
2) Schedule Flight - KCLE to KDTW
3) General Aviation Flight - KDTW to CZBA

CZBA is Burlington Airpark in Burlington Ontario Canada approximately 10km from my house in Burlington.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

Great event, I really enjoyed it!

1. Crew Pass Flight: TJSJ-EHAM (Martinair Cargo MD-11F)
2. Scheduled Flight: EHAM-CYUL (Classic KLM MD-11)
3. GA Flight: CYUL-CYYZ (Cessna 421C)

I live almost exactly halfway between CYYZ and CYTZ but I'm at CYYZ way more often so consider that my home airport.
