Number of characters available

MyActive AirSource (MyAAS) is the program used by AirSource members to record their flight time. Requires Microsoft Flight Simulator and (free) version of FSUIPC. MyAAS 2 is programmed by AS 201 Joe Hamilton, and is always being reviwed for new features.

Number of characters available

Hi Joe

How many characters are available when we write on the remarks section on PIREPS page in MYAAS2 ?
There are any difference between the Scheduled remarks section and the General Aviation one ?
On my two last GA flights, I was able to write everything I want to but few lines of my comment doesn't appear on the Flights page on the logbook.

On a side note, can you bring back "copy and paste" on the remarks section on PIREPS page please? It was really usefull on MYAAS version 1.

Keep up the good work Joe !!

Regards

Hi Guillaume,

To be honest, I have no idea how many characters are available. That's Tom's stuff. Will have to wait for him to chime in.

For the 'copy and paste', maybe he can have a look at that too. Seems to be requested a lot. What I do is drag and drop. If the program you have won't let you drag, then copy and paste into something that will late you drag and drop (I use Notepad++). Although, I do agree, copy and paste is easier.

The system allows many characters, and for paste try to click in the comments field then press CNTL+V on the keyboard.

Right-clicking doesn't work either.

Hmm, I am getting a paste option when I right-click. You are filing either a bid or scheduled flight correct? I noticed that cntl+v would not work but right clicking after copying from another source like notepad allowed me to paste.
