Wrong Airport

Postby hippyone9 » 05 Jun 2012 07:55

Hi

Just flew BA174 from KJFK-EGLL in a boeing 747-400 and somehow managed to file KJKF-EGLC (City!) which would be rather unrealistic to say the least. Can you amend for me o do I just delete adn submit a manual PIREP?

Thanks

John

Landing a 74 into LCY would have been a sight for sore eyes, trying to visit the Queen on her Diamond Jubilee!

Thanks for that one :D

Kind of reminds me of my first ever transatlantic flight in the PMDG Queen when she first came out all those years ago and I couldn't bring the plane to a stop in time and ended up with a hop skip and jump in Central Park, New York. It was also my first Atlantic flight with British Airways Virtual and to my surprise their flight reporting system thought I was at KJFK and accepted the PIREP!

If I had really tried to land at LCY I probably would have ended up in Hyde Park.

Thanks for the amendment.

John
