So I'm new here.

Beem doing this hobby for over 15 years and everybody's gpt thier own PIREP system.

OK, so I download MY AAS and have no idea how to get it to record a slight.

I booked a flight, started MyAAS, it asked me to select the flight (which I did) and and the little window came up saying text, text, text....

Not knowing any better, I started the flight and realized nothing was being recorded.

Is their a tutorial on how to uset his somewhere?

Hi Dan,

Start MyAAS. You'll get a message about no saved flights on your computer.

Next MyAAS will connect to this site and search for any of your booked flights and those will appear in a window. Select one and click on download. Now you can also download any more booked flights.

Now go to File/Load Locally Saved Flight and pick the flight you are going to fly.

Start FS and go to your departure airport.

Click on the Start button in MyAAS. Now all the Test messages will go away, replaced by the data from FS.

Fly and land.

Now click on the Stop button.

Go to File/PIREP Locally Saved Flight and follow the prompts.

Looks like a lot but really quite easy after a few times.

Hi, I am a newbie also, responding exactly I year later. I installed myAAS2 and have tried to record my flight. I don't really know what I am doing, I don't see that it is uploading a flight. Any tutorial on the operation of myAAS2 ?

Thanks and Hi to all.

Hi and Welcome,

It is best to tell us what you have done with a flight and MyAAS first and then we can fill in the missing pieces.

I'm way behind on the manual. Have been meaning to get to it but haven't made it there yet.

Although it's a little outdated, there is the start of one, with a quick flight, at http://myaas2.jbham.net/MyAASV2_Manual.pdf. Should still work. The only difference I can see, right now, is that steps 12-14 are all now just one step "File Menu -> File Flight Reports". Also, don't get put off by the number of steps, every little thing has a number.

Hope that gets you pointed in the right direction. If you need anything else, just ask.
