Dep / Arr time errors

Postby kingsak » 13 Oct 2011 13:23

Using w/ FSX on WinXP.
When I go to file PIREP's, the dep. and arr. times are always
way off from what I set in the sim. They don't even come close
to the actual times (Std. or UTC), although the minutes seem
to be recording accurately.
As for the flight dates, I haven't checked yet but should I assume
that if the times aren't recorded, the dates aren't either?

It depends on the division you're flying but basically the departure time is pulled from the actual departure time from the website, i.e. if your booked scheduled flight departs 08:00, then it will default 08:00, you can always change it

Times are still way out of the park!
I'm not making a deal out of this as the minutes ARE correct.
The fuel use is also right on the ball!
Can I edit the Dep / Arr dates?
Sometimes it takes me a day or two to get to O/L
PC and when I file with MyAAS it automatically puts
my flight date to the date that I file.
As usual, this is not a big deal. I just try to keep all
to match my personal logbook.
