Hmm, are you having problems connecting perhaps? When myAAS cannot connect to the airsource site to send your data, myAAS will automatically turn off the on-line mode. Have you allowed myAAS through firewall, etc?

Just released v1.0.2.3 which will create an error text file within the myaas directory. Let's see if you get an error file next time the on line connection un-checks.

Well, it's been awhile and this problem is back. I am currently flying a bid flight and my ONLINE status will not stay on. I have checked everything in the firewall and even turned it off and it still does not stay on ONLINE status. I tried using the link from the first time this happened, but nothing. Any ideas for this time? Any help would be good. AS program is still recording my time, just not staying in ONLINE status.

Thanks,
Greg

Greg is there an error text file in the myAAS install directory?

Also which link? The one that creates the registry entry? If doing this be sure myAAS is closed before clicking the link

Hey Tom,

Here is the only thing I found as an error in the error file,

4/24/2011 12:52:24 PMError Section 2484: #42000You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Blue'', truetime=45, tstamp=1303649543, fn='SWA1', airline='SWA', fuel=28349, fu' at line 1

Greg please send me your aasflights.aas file before filing the pirep. The file is located in your myaas directory.

Also could you look via flight sim (and/or the aircraft.cfg file) and describe the exact "name" of the aircraft you are using for this flight? It seems to have "Blue" in it... I am looking for the full name, including any other characters besides letters or numbers.

Hey Tom,

I sent the file to your email. The plane I used was the default B737-800 for FSX and the Blue is the text file for Southwest Ailines texture file. I have used this plane and texture file several times and had no problem.

Okay thanks

Just as a hunch, change your aircraft config file to read following:

under [fltsim.8]
anywhere referenced as
SOUTHWEST 'Blue' ---> change to ---> SOUTHWEST Blue
without the '
save your aircraft config and try myaas again

Hey Tom,

Working once again. It only seemed to happen when I did the bid flight. Other then that, no problems.

I can confirm this error, as I had the same problem yesterday on a bid flight from KPAE to FNUL. I took off with it showing me online, but after about twenty minutes of flight time, it stopped showing me on the website. Once I checked the site on my phone to verify that I was indeed not showing online, I quickly paused my flight, and checked the online mode box again, it lasted about ten minutes before unchecking itself again. I am at work right now, but once I get home, I will try to see if the afore-mentioned error file exists on my machine. If it does, I will post it here.

Looks like it is happening again Tom. Tried the patch in this post, but no luck. Any suggestions?
