Hello Greg,

Is this only for a specific flight or all flights? There may be a problem with the flight you are trying to fly, if this is the case please send me your "aasflights.aas" file via email attachement and let me know which flight it is.

also can Try this: open myAAS,
assure "on line" check box is checked
close myAAS.
open myAAS again then fly a flight

Hello Tom,

Actually it is happening on all flights. I thought maybe it was the network I am using, but I tried it on the actual Flight Sim computer and it did the same thing. It is recording the time and I am able to PIREP, just won't stay showing online.

All I see in this file is a bunch of letters and symbols...lol. Truly stumped. It was working fine a couple of days ago.

Any recent changes to computer i.e. firewall, etc. Also is myAAS allowed through firewall?

Also try this, be sure myAAS is not open - then save attached file to desktop and double click it, then double click the file inside the zip. You'll get a warning that entry to registry, etc. all this does is add the registry key that myAAS is to be flown on line so it is safe to click.

Okay but I still think there may be something going on because we shouldn't need to "force" the registry setting. The program should be automatically doing that when you click on the check box to show "on-line". Let me know if it continues to work - which I hope it does! But something tells me there is something else causing this to happen and it may happen again soon. Report back when you can Greg.

okay, it appears that by doing the above instructions it does fix the problem. However I need to figure out why it is happening so any extra information you can give me - like what you were doing around the time this happened would be great.

I wish i knew what i was doing when it first happened but i'm not real sure when it began. I just happened to notice that i wasnt showing up on the flight board and then saw the box unchecked, would check it, then 30 seconds later it would uncheck itself. No changes to the computer or flight sim lately either. And that fix did work as far as I can tell
Thanks
John

I am not running any registry cleaners at all, but since using the fix Tom sent I am having no problems.

I am suspecting something but need to release a new version to dump a text error file that you all can send me. I will work on that.
