MyAAS Reporting

Postby placei » 29 Jul 2017 10:19

Is there a problem with the system as I have been flying for over 2 hours and my flight is not even been reported 29July17 JAL403 NRT-LHR Classic flight. I also uploaded about 15 RYR Flights yesterday 28thJuly17 and they don't exist?--Ian Place AS171 :( :?:

The KLAS---RJAA flight is there. Is that one flight you are referring to?

I see this as well for the classic flight:

No sign of RYR flights though... no problems have been reported otherwise. Did you try to open myAAS, and are any flights still there to be PIREP'd?

To add, I also do not see any evidence of pirep upload attempts, this is a special table that no one really "sees" but it holds the intermediate data that transfers from our PC to the table that displays flight data in our logbooks.

The RYR flights you mention were flown using myAAS correct? Or did you try manual PIREP?

Sorry I have just saved my flight and restarted it and still no sign of my flight on the flight board or on the map? On the other subject I am the flight manager for Ryanair and I definitely uploaded 24 MRS Flights 2days ago and the RYR Logo does not appear at all on the upload list--Ian Place AS171

Hi Ian-

When you get a chance, try going into the Options Menu then Maintenance. Try using both Refresh Server Data and Edit Pilot Info. See if that fixed the flight map issue.

Also, just a quick thought, can you double-check to make sure the time on your computer is showing the correct time.

Ian, ahh okay I misunderstood your post as being flights that were flown! Anyhow, this is because there have been so many updates since you uploaded the flights.

Go here then press "CTRL+F" and type in RYR...

Can I uninstall this program? As ive tried the options maintenance all the easy methods to try and get my flight on the map but to no avail. It does not appear even when I have cancelled the flight and started again after maintenance?--Ian Place AS171

Ian,

There is no uninstall, simply delete the program to remove. We wanted things to be as simple as possible without creating registry entries, uninstall prompts, etc.

And yes Jim makes a good point, do you have on-line checked in options/settings?

Also are you using a VPN?

This one is very important - is the time on your PC correct?

*As far as using 3 pc's you mean at separate times correct? Just making sure you're not trying to connect using more than one pc at a time, which would cause errors and be against policy...

Also - I checked the database table for the on line flights and see that you were there (from your most recent flight KLAS-RJAA). Another words, the data was being sent to our website. I would need to try and keep checking to see when you're on line but there should be no reason why you're not showing on the map/front page. Maybe e-mail Joe and I the next time you're getting ready to fly and one of us will try to get on the website to check it out. Hopefully it's a longer flight so Joe or I get some time to look at it (and not working at the time!)

Thanks Tom Answers to your questions
1 The on-line options/settings are on
2 I am not on a VPN (Virtual private network)
3. The clock is correctly set at the correct time
4. No I am not using and flying on 3 computers at the same time
I am currently flying RJAA-EGLL JAL403 Classic B747-200
When I finish this flight I will delete and re-install MyAAS

Just another thought, can you make sure you are using version 2.0.3001.
