I'm going to download now and see if it is any good and see how it gets on with some of the issues ASA has given me.

No doubt Jim will give us some background

Thanks for the headsup Mark. I have ASv6.5, so I will do something quite rare here... i'll spend some money to upgrade to ASA so that I can get the evolution free

Hi Mark,

Will be interested in your experiences! We really did look at the major ASA issues and went ahead and re-programmed some of the systems from scratch. That is one of the reasons for a new release and not just a Service Pack.

I still get the high temp with the pmdg MD11 . It might be more of a problem on my end of things though . I get a temp of between 44 and 46C at about 20000ft .

Hi Lee,

Parden my language but DAMN. Can you confirm this is with B566 and not with the older ASA wich would be B433 or B435?

We even put in place some data filters that prevent temps over a certain value to be submitted to FS.

Then if you can, tell me what you did yo get these temps.

Thanks!

Jim it is build 566 but it has not done it since i first installed it early yesterday . I will keep an eye on it and let you know if it does it again but only once so far just after the install and i had FSX running when i installed so that might have been something to do with it .

Overall though it seems to be a good improvement over the old ASA program , my sim seems to run a little smoother although saying that i got some chop on finals at Honolulu earlier and it put me just off center . Im happy withit so far though jim .

Jim it looks like all the hard work has paid off . It runs perfect , if flown for 30+ hours with it and had no problems whatsoever just when i first installed it , but i did have FSX running so my fault on that one i guess . Nice job HiFi .

Jim, I have the Evolution installed, but having problems with the barometric pressure. Although, for example the METAR reports 29.56, even by hitting the "B" button as normal which adjusts to local conditions, the pressure remains at 29.92.

Secondly whilst in flight, the barometric pressure is hugely erratic, going from 29.60 to 28.45, going lower then screaming upto 29.92 below FL180.

Is there something i'm missing in terms of the options settings or is this a known "quirky"?
