Sky Simulations DC-9

Postby Leemazz » 01 Aug 2009 19:49

I just purchased skysims DC-9 and was wondering if anybody else had as im having serious problems with this thing . Problem is the flaps wont work or the brakes and the throttles go crazy . I hope its not another turd machine from them i hope its just me , it more likely is me as the dc-9 is like way before my time .

I don't have it yet, but for your flaps and brakes, maybe check to see if the hydraulics are on? In a real DC-9 there's two switches on the F/O side of the main panel that are OFF-LOW-HI switches for the engine hydraulic pumps. You need LOW for flight controls and HI for flaps and gear.

Lewis i think your spot on . I will try that out later , thanks . Other than that it seems a great model and flies a lot better than their MD11 .

Do you like it better than the Ironknuckles DC-9? I know it's an old model but, with some tweaking it seems to work well.
