Thoughts on the CLS Airbuses

Postby AS380 Mark Richards » 19 Aug 2007 11:42

I see that CLS have released their A330-200, A330-300, A340-200 and A340-300, to join their A340-500 and -600 collection.

I have not shelled out my hard earned pay on any of the CLS products.

I'm not a fan of the Airbus but figure I should do some investigation as to what people thing of the CLS products.

Thoughts or comments please. I didn't like the fact that they advertise on their website that the FMC only uses default MSFS database, no good when that is years out of date.

Pretty much Mark CLS are easy on the eye aircraft . The FMC is just for imputing the localizer frequencies but they do fly really well with good panels and accurate sounds but the fmc is very basic , there no Level-D.

I personally use the the DC-10 and the A340-500-600s.

I have the A340-600 and I really like it. Good performance, good panels.

Thanks guys, and do you know if you can use something like vasFMC for heading and nav or do you have to use their "limited" FMC?
