My 744/744F PMDG fs2crew merge

Postby Anthony Fluhart AS167 » 03 Mar 2007 08:05

Well, its pretty simple. Keep in mind you do this at your own risk! So back up your files! This is only for owners of the fs2crew 744 pmdg version and of course the pmdg 744/744F

1.) Rename your 744F panel folder to panel.old
2.) Copy for 744 panel to your 744F folder
3.) Copy this over the vc section in your new 744F panel folder's cfg file

[VCockpit01]
size_mm=1024,1024
pixel_size=1024,1024
texture=$DISPLAY_F
background_color=1,1,1

gauge00=PMDG_747400_Overhead!VC_background, 0,0,1,1
gauge01=PMDG_747400_Main!CRTScreen, 0,0,256,256,OUTBD CAPTAIN CRT VC
gauge02=PMDG_747400_Main!CRTScreen, 256,0,256,255,INBD CAPTAIN CRT VC
gauge03=PMDG_747400_Main!CRTScreen, 512,0,256,256,UPPER CRT VC
gauge04=PMDG_747400_Main!CRTScreen, 768,0,256,256,LOWER CRT VC
gauge05=PMDG_747400_Main!CRTScreen, 0,512,256,256,INBD FO CRT VC
gauge06=PMDG_747400_Main!CRTScreen, 0,256,256,256,OUTBD FO CRT VC
gauge07=PMDG_747400_Main!VC_MCP_F, 361,754,290,24
// VIN, THIS IS FINAL SIZE!
gauge08=PMDG_747400_Main!Chronometer, 0,826,199,198
gauge09=PMDG_747400_Main!SbyRMI, 405,870,166,153
gauge10=PMDG_747400_Main!EICASPanel, 0,0,1,1
gauge11=PMDG_747400_Main!CDU, 255,256,335,470,L VC
gauge12=PMDG_747400_Main!CDU, 590,256,335,470,R VC
gauge13=PMDG_747400_Main!VC_RadioStack, 2, 790, 326,18
gauge14=PMDG_747400_Main!Whiskey, 261,731,92,54
gauge15=PMDG_747400_Main!ISFD, 706,729,318,298, ISFD VC
gauge20=fs2crew\747P\gcrew0!gcrew0, 0,826,199,198
gauge21=fs2crew\747P\gcrew130!gcrew130, 810,864,200,168

4.) Add this line under the window.2 section (overhead panel). This will give functionality for the cargo doors.

gauge10=PMDG_747400_Overhead!DoorSystemF, 0,0,1,1

5.) Give it a test run! It worked well for me. You will have the 744 main panel and the 744F v/c. I don't about actual functionality in the v/c because I mainly fly in the 2d panel. But it still looks great!

I guess if you can't figure it out I could email the panel.cfg file to whoever wants it.

I think I got it. I kinda like the Newer MCP on the F series but I can live without it.

I'll try it this weekend.

Thanks again

Bryan, from fs2crew, has the cfg file uploaded on the fs2crew page now.
