Introduction

It is with much pleasure that AirSource Virtual Pilot???s Union invites crew to participate in the first event for 2017 (and for a while!) ??? Waterfalls of the World. This event runs for three months from 01Jun17 until 30SEP17.

Crew will be presented with details of the greatest 17 ???waterfalls of the world???, as outlined at http://www.touropia.com/greatest-waterf ... -the-world ??? Few geographical features exemplify the beauty and power of nature as dramatically as majestic waterfalls. The sight of tons of water spilling over the edge of a cliff or cascading over rocks never fails to impress. While the grandest falls deserve a prominent place on any bucket list, a waterfall doesn???t have to be the tallest, widest or most voluminous to make it a worthwhile travel destination. From powerful cataracts plunging over steep precipices to multi-step cascades tumbling gently into a series of pools, here are some of the world???s most amazing waterfalls.

From that list crew will complete flights to at least 15 of the 17 listed (with bonus points for completing all 17) following the rules outlined below. In addition to earning AirSource virtual dollars for each of the flights, bonus dollars will be earned, and logbook awards issued, for crew members who complete the event. These are outlined in the awards section below.

The flight route can be found at http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=SBGL-SARI- ... =wls&DU=nm and includes some intermediate stops to account for the airport size for some of the longer sectors.
