Report of the commander

Greetings everyone and welcome to the ASHA News. This is the newsletter of the month May 2012.

The statistics show a little increase in flights and hours, but they still are not the level of the first months of 2012. Below you see some statistics of the two months. First you see the numbers of May and between parentheses April.

Usage of the day in hours: 1.6 (1.5)
Average flight in hours: 4.0 (3.2)
Hours/month: 1202.8 (1109.1)
Hours/month only by SDOs: 391.2 (310.3)
Hours/month only by pilots: 811.6 (798)
Flights/month: 297 (347)
Flights/month only by SDOs: 95 (108)
Flights/month only by pilots: 202 (239)

The SDOs and Wing Commanders made almost the same number of missions and some flights more. This is very good because there were several vacancies and we had to work with temporary assignments.
Well done Guys!!

Missions: 3 (3)
Flights: 152 (132)

Also promotions and awards are minimal, but that???s mostly depending on the numbers of flights or hours the pilots fly during this month and the previous month..

But let???s conclude:
It was an on-going month with a lot of effort of the few SDOs with a lot of temporary replacements.
A special call: Pilots! If you want to help this wonderful ASHA division, don???t hesitate and give me a message.
You???ve seen that we need new SDOs in the team!!!!!
