AAS saved on ground

Hi there. I have noticed that AAS does not recognise saved flight time once you have landed.This is what has happened to me on a few occassions, im still on the runway and need to dash out ( as i am firefighter on call) so i save flight,when i resume flight AAS thinks i have started a new flight and returns me to my start airport even though i have a number of hours saved and im at destination.Any thoughts on this.Regards
