This is usually caused by running the base version of AAS (v2.0) without installing the latest patch. Download the latest patch and replace your ActiveAirSource.exe which can be found on multiple webpages throughout the website, including the Pilot Operations - Downloads page.

What is the (AFAS) mean shown after the flight status when viewing an AAS flight page online (ie "AT FLIGHT LEVEL (AFAS)")?

Can start a flight using AAS and finish it using the MyAAS program or vice-versa?
No. The system will not allow PIREP of a flight started using AAS or MyAAS and finishing with another program. If attempted, neither flight will be able to be PIREP'd and all flight time will be lost!
