In order to use AAS version 3.00 and later, it requires that FSUIPC be installed within your flightsim program. Otherwise when you try to click the FLY NOW button after filling in the Preflight information, you will be presented with the following error;

Unable to connect FSUIPC with FS200x
FSUIPC: IPC request contains bad data.

You can download FSUIPC and find the official support forum associated with it here;

If you are new to using FSUIPC, please be sure to read the User Guide that is contained within the FSUIPC zip. If you only want to use FSUIPC without paying for a registration, thats up to you, however you will need to register ActiveAirSource for use with FSUIPC through FSUIPC screen and how to do this can be found in the User Guide. The information that you will need can be found in the AAS Help - About AAS screen from within AAS.

If you have FSUIPC installed and see the "Modules" menu with FSUIPC as a choice on the menu at the top of your FS screen, please make sure your have FS running and you are in the aircraft with the fuel setting as you want it to be, before clicking the START AAS button in AAS. This is to make sure that after you finish entering in your preflight information and click the FLY NOW button that communication with AAS, FS200x. and FSUIPC is ready to begin properly.

For additional information regarding AAS v3.00+ and FSUIPC see the topic in this forum area named "AAS v3.00 Released!"
