Keeps disapearing

I hate to complain because it is such a nice program and I know its something I am doing, but here is what is happening. I follow the installation instructions per the link in the sticky for the program and patch, when I run it it downloads missing files and all is well. But if I shut the computer down and restart at the end of the day the desktop icon is there but clicking on it gets the message to the effect the associated file has been deleted or moved and I have to reinstall. Any idea what going on?

When you right-click on the Active AirSource icon on your desktop, then go to "properties", tell me what is in the "target" box.
