Bird Strike

Using FSP

Almost immediatly after takeoff from 18 at KDAL in my A319 we suffered a bird strike which took out the right engine. No luck restarting, we declared an emergency, squawked 7700 and started the check list to turn back and land at DAL.
We used the autopilot to help maintain stable flight and got lined up on 31R. The plane was pulling hard left and controlling approach was very difficult. We managed to touch down, after a couple bounces and almost leaving the RW we came to stop within my estimation of about 10 feet of the end of 31R.
Passengers were pleased to have landed in one piece but other than that not too much good to say.
