Aircraft home airport is wrong

Postby paul01942 » 20 Apr 2021 21:17

Hi Guys,

I've recently purchased in the General Aviation hanger a 1972 Piper (I-SQLV) I wanted my home airport to be EGCB (Barton Aerodrome) but instead it has made this aircraft's home LIRN (Naples) is there a way to change this?
I 'am on a tour of Italy in the aircraft at the moment, but ideally I'd like its home to be Barton.

Paul,

I see this aircraft home location as LIMC not LIRN. I'm not sure I can make that change as it may affect all past flights for the aircraft so would need to test that, but first making sure I'm looking at the right aircraft in the database table?

Took some database table surgery :) but think I got it updated for you Paul. The new registration is G-TPNZ

I seem to have a similar problem, I recently Purchased a Douglas C-47 Skytrain (G-AVCH) and changed its homebase to EGPN however i got an error saying 'this registration is already in use' and the homebase remained EGPE when purchased. :? Its not a huge deal i just thought it may be worth noting. :)

Hi, I have just purchased a Maule and am about to fly it home to Deadhorse (PASC) FROM Shoreham in the UK.
I would like it's home airport to be changed to PASC if that is possible. Is it also possible to change it's Registration Number to VPY-YC ?
Thanks in anticipation??

Hello Simon,

Done! One thing though, the registration code for Gibraltar show as format VP-GAA-VP-GZZ so shows in our database as as VP-YYC. Is this replicating a real world aircraft and does it have registration VPY-YC? I am thinking VP-GYC but let me know what you think we can adjust if needed.

Hi Tom, you have done it right, it should be VP-YYC. Thanks so much, Just finished the flight up to Wick in Scotland. Over to the Faroe Islands next. Great fun! About 14 flights to get home. Plotted them out on FSX Maps.
Thanks again.

It was a real world aircraft, a Cessna, back in the 1970's..

Hi Tom,

I recently purchased a Tecnam P2006T, the registration number is 9A-USM, home airport is LDSB. Is it possible to change the the reg.number to HA-BAK and the home airport to LHUD?

Thank you.

Hey Tom, I have purchased two aircraft as well and it still has them with other home airports. I have no idea how to change them to my home airport of CZBA. Not important, but thought it would be cool if they were registered to my home airport.
