AirSource is proud to announce our next event - 2014 FIFA World Cup

AirSource - The Airline of Choice for the 2014 FIFA Soccer World Cup - Brazil

The 2014 FIFA World Cup will be the 20th FIFA World Cup, an international men's football tournament that is scheduled to take place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014. It will be the second time that Brazil has hosted the competition, the previous being in 1950. Brazil was elected unchallenged as host nation in 2007 after the international football federation, FIFA, decreed that the tournament would be staged in South America for the first time since 1978 in Argentina, and the fifth time overall.

The national teams of 31 countries advanced through qualification competitions that began in June 2011 to participate with the host nation Brazil in the final tournament. A total of 64 matches are to be played in twelve cities across Brazil in either new or redeveloped stadiums, with the tournament beginning with a group stage.

The FIFA World Cup??? is an event staged on a scale of spectacular proportions. As the largest single sports event and most-watched competition on earth it enjoys phenomenal interest from sports fans and the business world alike.

This event will be run in THREE stages:

STAGE 1
Flights from the participating countries to Sao Paulo, Brazil in time for the Opening Ceremony on 12 June 2014:

STAGE 2

Let me guess. It's the route involving a three-engine type aircraft.

I don't have an issue with that for the long hauls although it'd be good to leave some bids for others. I'd kind of prefer if the shorter internal legs within Brazil are shared around to as many crew members as possible once we start loading them but the premise of the event is for everyone to have some fun which is why there are no rules preventing flying the same route more than once.

With the addition of flights transporting spectators and teams to their specified venue, this turning out to be one of my favorite events to date! Awesome job and thank you!

I'll be watching as many games as possible

I am exited by this, first time in a long time I must admit.

In fact LPPT to SBGR was the first long haul I've done in years and I'm enjoying the domestic flights, I noticed them going up yesterday and just dove into it.

It's fun to fly the Jungle Jet in the home of the Jungle Jet!!

Thanks to all who put this together.
