Bid flight (distances)

Postby HoratioWondersocks » 06 Jun 2013 17:30

Hello BF peoples
I may have mentioned this before ,so apologies. One very important (imo) thing I think is missing from the BF selection page ,and that is the distances of the flights, whilst its obvious which are the real big long
haul affairs ,some others l may have only a rough idea, (and a rough idea may have me out by upto a thousand miles) and as my nightly flights don't usually excede that figure, it would be so helpful to know the distances involved from the BF selection page, rather than having to faff about possibly trawling the net to find the relevant distances involved in some routes.

Anyways
Some thoughts
Cheers Andy

OK Jim
Thats a useful site. But I just think that it would be so much easier (and in an otherewise full featured site like A.S. ) to simply have the distances as part of the flight details. As I mentioned in my first post I don't really want to be trawling round other sites to find that most ( imo )important information. You do of course get the distance info on the scheduled flights .

Anyways
I know nothing about how you add or remove features from web sites ,and if adding the distance info is a difficult procedure then so be it. I don't fly Bids very often so no worries .

I most often add distances and maps to the bids I enter. I will have a discussion with the CDOs and get them to add this where they can.
