SPECIAL BONUS BID FLIGHTS: LONDON OLYMPICS

Postby AS37 Norm Edwards » 19 Jul 2012 18:00

The 2012 London Olympic Games are set to kickoff on 27 July 2012 - just over a week away from today. There are still a number of countries that have yet to get their athletes to the opening ceremony.

Over the next week there will be some special bonus Bid Flights posted in the Bid Division that will accrue a bonus payment to the pilot who bids for it, flies it and, and pireps it BEFORE 27 July 2012. If the flight is flown after the 27th of July, no bonus payment will be made.

These special bonus Bid Flights won't form part of the minimum requirements to be awarded for the logbook ribbon that will be issued to those that have already registered as an Operation Hermes participating pilot - therefore, any pilot can bid for them!

I will progressively post these special bid flights in the Civilian Charter section of the Bid Division starting from 20 July 2012, so keep your eyes peeled for them in the Bid Division - they will be coded as OLYMPIC-SPECIAL-XXX where XXX will represent a successive numbering system.

This will be a great opportunity for any AirSource pilot to make a bit of extra V$ cash!
