Thomson round the world flights

Postby paul01942 » 04 Dec 2011 22:28

Thomson Airways are sending a Boeing 757-200 aircraft on a VIP round the world flight on behalf of a travel company, there are some very interesting routes to be flown, there will be a lot of work putting all the routes into the system below are the flights:

EGCC-KBGR-KSFB-SPIM-SCIP-NTAA-NSFA-YCBS-VDSR-ZUUU-VIAG-HTKJ-HELX-HECA-GMMX-LPLA-KSFB-EGCC

Thomson have chosen the following aircraft to operate this routing:
CN/MSN: 33101
Line No.: 1041
Current Registration: G-OOBF
Operator (Owner): Thomson Airways
Delivery Date: 2008-11-01

I'm interested to know if this is something that fellow pilots would enjoy and actively bid on? I would really like people to bid on the full routing but please give me some feedback if this is something you might be interested in?

This is based on a real routing i have a copy of the exact timetable being used.

Look forward to hearing from you and reading the follow up posts

Thomson round the world flights

Postby AS380 Mark Richards » 05 Dec 2011 09:25

If I had a 757 for FSX I'd certainly be interested in Paul.

This is a great set of flights that will see pilots head to some unusual and varied airports they might not otherwise fly to.

Have a very merry christmas and a very happy new year to you and your families

Keep safe

I might pick up one of those flights since I'm enroute to Europe (FS9 speakingly) :D

Is there a 752 Thomson in the livery she is in? (you mentioned she is wearing a special livery for this event so perhaps there is one painted already?)

I noticed you put the codes 3 letters, I think the search queries accept both 4 and 3 letters. I'm just used to doing 4 here for some reason (actually FSCommander will only accept 4 letters, it doesn't recognize the 3 letter designation... so I need to get me an electronic airport database)
