Classic Japan Airlines MD-11

Postby AS540 » 10 Nov 2011 16:43

Hello :D

I have noticed the Japan Airlines Classic MD-11 routes are incomplete and I have e-mailed Japan Airlines requesting all their old MD-11 routes and have received a reply with all their old MD-11 routes. Whom would I contact about getting them updated?

I also am in the process of getting all their 747 routes as that is a little incomplete also.

Last question, I know this is a Airstocks question but I don't want to be spamming the forums. I have noticed Japan Airlines Classic, American Classic and a few others are well above the minimums required for Airstocks but are not included. I personally would love to see Classic Japan Airlines in the airstocks system and was wondering how flights/hours are needed to get them in the system?

Thanks a lot! As I said before, I love this VA Air-Source I am so glad I found it. :D

HI,

Likely that VP Scheduled Div. Roy Loucks can answer your question re: JAL. As far as the AirStocks question, let me look into this and I will get back with a reply here when I have more data. Welcome aboard!

JAL does already have AirStocks? http://www.air-source.us/AirStocks/TDET.asp?AA=V_JAL

As far as _AA I have added this airline to AirStocks now.

Let me know of any others that are qualified and still need to be added and I'll be glad to!

Thank you Tom, I really appreciate you looking into it.

But there is a Japan Airlines (JAL) and a Japan Airlines Classic. Their logo is quite different, but indeed it is the same airline.

The one you were referring to was:
http://www.air-source.us/Operations/SCH ... IRLINE=JAL

The one I was referring to was this one:
http://www.air-source.us/Operations/SCH ... IRLINE=_JA

The latter is the one I would be really excited to have included in the system. :D

If you could take a look again at the links provided, it would be much appreciated! Thanks

Matthew

Matthew,

If you have all the old MD-11 routings back from JAL, I can assign you as a Flight Manager and you can add the routes to the Classic Japan Airlines schedule. Let me know and I'll send you the link for the Flight Manager Tutorial.
