SimBrief Integration

Postby Anthony Fluhart AS167 » 16 Dec 2019 16:17

Hey Tom,

I wondering if it would be possible/feasible to integrate some SimBrief functionality to the website? Mainly, just a button you could hit (https://www.simbrief.com/forum/viewtopi ... c49913c888) probably at the plan book screen just underneath the four rectangles on the right of each crew pass (pirep, return, etc.). Again, I don't know how easy/difficult or even time consuming it would be to do this. I did include a link to simbrief's forum about a seemingly easy link system to pre-populate fields into a simbrief flightplan.

I use Simbrief for nearly all my flights (I own FS Commander but prefer this free webtool) - it's fantastic. Having it integrated into AirSource would be even better!

My first post to the forum, actually - and I just want to thank Tom and all the other volunteers that make this a really great VA - it's the first one I've found that allows me to have a life AND fly long flights at the same time!

So, today was my Birthday and I didn't have a lot going on (relaxing for once!)... had some time to play around with this feature and hope you enjoy!

Put in all the data I could, there's just nothing else saved in our plans but its a good start :)

Merry Christmas!

Lee, it's great. You can download the .rte flight plan straight into your PMDG file so that it comes up as a CO route in your MD-11.
