Hello Lee,

Even though the flight shows up on flightradar24, this does not mean there may always be enough "data" to make the flight valid.

GEC8380 is also known as LH8380 which is Lufthansa Cargo, and unfortunately FK isn't picking up ths flight. At this time FlightKiosk does not play well with cargo flights. It has nothing to do with the flight in progress or not. In fact, I have found that most times only when the flight is active will FK find the flight as valid (if it finds it at all).

I hope to modify things in the future to better accomdate the cargo flights. But as it stands, for whatever reason some cargo flights show as valid, others do not. For example, if there is a UPS or FedEx flight going on at the time you read this post, it is likely that FlightKisok will show the flight as valid and allow entry.

No problem Tom

When the cargo flights show on Flightware Flightkiosk seems to pick them up ok , it must be when they fly Asia and show on Flightradar24

Could anyone tell me whether flights from the summer schedule will be available in the winter or they will be removed?

It really depends on the airline, and if someone has the time to go update it. In an ideal world (for me anyway), our schedules would mimic what you would see if you went down to that airport today. Of course, the work involved with that would be astronomical, so we do the best we can and get the closest we can.

Long story short, if someone updates the airline you are concerned with over the Winter, then there is a good chance any Summer only flights would be removed. If there isn't an update, then we will likely stay on the Summer schedule throughout the Winter (although the kiosk will let you add any missing flights that you may want to fly)

Hope that helps, but don't hesitate to ask any questions you may still have on this.
