Hey Tom, I'd like to make a few videos for YouTube, I just wondered if I could use the Air Source image on my video Thumbnail, given that all my flights will probably be recorded during an AS flight.

of course, I can always include a URL to the site in my show notes.

Thanks man.

the first few are rather ropey, I'm used to podcasting, not making live videos, lol. My next flight is my 1000th for Air source, so am planning on recording the whole thing from flight selection to closing AAS.

Ill break out the proper microphone for that, so my audio should be much better too!

I did find your avsim link in your profile, and you have tonnes of them!

I did wonder tho.

which is your all-time fav repaint??

The one that you did, and it makes you smile every time you look at it?

What a great question .

Im not sure to be honest , one that stands out to me is probably the Finnair Moomins repaint which i completely hand painted , i didnt use photos i just painted it direct on to the texture which took forever .

Probably though my favourite was an old one i did which was requested by an ex military pilot who used to fly for United he explained how CP air leased Dc10s from United and stuck extra fuel tanks in , bit of a long story but he asked me to paint the CLS dc-10 in the colours of CP Air , i loved the look of the bare metal and the orange colours , great livery on a beautiful bird .

Problem with painting is though it borders on harassement with the amount of emails you get requesting repaints , i used to refuse to do Virtual airlines all the time , i recall one with Saudi VA which the email turned nasty because i would not paint their fleet , basically i stopped painting about 4 years ago and i still get requests now but i dont release anything anymore because of the hassle , it turns into a full time job

:D you can see that as soon as a company says they are releasing a new aircraft, along come the posts requesting not only airline liveries, but also specific registrations.

My FMX is my first attempt at a paint job, and it took ages to follow a guy on youtube whose 8 part tutorial I found. I can only imagine the amount of hours you have put into every one.

I shall go look for your paints now to check them out! especially the moomins one... Brings back memories from a very long time ago!!
