Beech aircraft data missing

Postby troywx62 » 24 Mar 2015 11:34

Looked up a flight (Sch.Div.) ERR, Era Alaska flt 810 and it shows required aircraft as BE1 but when I click to verify the plane I get "Aircraft Unknown". I just assumed and used a Beech 1900D.
Did I use wrong plane? If not, why is it not in the database as popular as this aircraft is????
Confused as I have seen on various sites different codes for the same plane and it's aggrivating as heck!
BE1,B190,BE19. Drives me nuts!
Listed as required aircraft but gives no definition of the code!

Hi,

Yes, that was the correct plane to use.

Not sure if you were aware that we recently switched web hosts and not every single link on every single page has been updated yet. Sometimes the only way that our tech staff knows is if we KINDLY post about it.

I hope that all those angry icons are meant in jest and that you are not as mad as you seem from your post.

Hello Troy - can you provide a link to the page giving you the error? Just copy/paste the link into the forum post. This will help me find where the problem is.

Oh and yes not all websites are consistent with codes. Like Joe recently told me, there are "too many codes in the world of flight" lol!

Tom,

Go here: http://air-source.us/Operations/SCHEDUL ... ine_01.asp

Click on the BE1 link after Equipment

Then the Aircraft Code window comes up and in that window it says: BE1 Aircraft type is unknown

I have fixed the BE1 (now BES)... and a few others like 737 (now 73G).

The issue is that we recently merged multiple aircraft tables into one, so there were some missing references or aircraft that needed to be updated.

There are likely more, just post and we'll fix!

Thanks guys. I noticed the change as I was booking more flights.
I should have left icons off my post. I was not angry, just confused.
Again thank you. Now to do all of Era Alaska's flights!
