live map question.

Postby HoratioWondersocks » 27 Nov 2014 17:23

Hello All
Should I have my anti virus/firewall on when using live flight map ?
One of these two is causing fs9 to minimize when its doing whatever AVs or FWs do in the background.
I like the live flight map/tracker.
Cheers Andy

It really shouldn't matter. If you use just FS does this minimizing happen?

Thanks Jim

What I am really trying to find out is should I be running AVs and firewall whist using the AS livemap?
Obviously you have to be online to use the map.
I would guess the answer is yes

Yep, just keep things running as you normally would.

Have since replaced McAfee trial version(came with this PC)
With avast which I was using before ,and no minimising issues to report.
