Search irritation query

Postby HoratioWondersocks » 22 Dec 2012 11:10

Hello Folks
I use Google chrome.
When I do a search for a flight and enter the details IE distance ,type of aircraft etc I used to be able view the results, and if needed go back to the opening page and my original choices would still be visible ,now they are not and if i want to try again I have to re-enter the aircraft/airline all over again.
I have obviously altered some setting within Google but cant for the life of me see what.
I.Explorer is fine ,but Google is my main choice so its rather irritating if I have to open I.E. just for Airsource searches. If anybody out there can help I would appreciate it.
cheers Andy

Try by just using whatever key you use to browse back a screen.

I think this is a chrome issue as I find the same thing. Ok in Firefox and Safari.

Same here, think it's chrome - even tried advanced settings but nothing to change that would make this work that I can see.

Thanks Guys
Its a bit of a mystery really, it worked some time ago with Chrome ,but not any more.
Its only a minor ,but surprisingly irritating problem.

Anyways!
Cheers and much merry yuletide merriness to all.

Not meaning to dig up an old thread, just figured it might help somebody.

If you hold down the CTRL key when you click on the search button, it will open the search results in a new tab keeping your search parameters intact on the original page.

Hello Joe
Doesn't matter if (my) Orig post is ancient, a tip is a tip.
I will give it a try (out of curiosity).
Strange that all other browsers (including my android tablet thing browser) work okay for A.S. flight selection backwards browsing but not GChrome.
Those fiends at Google must be anti Flight simmers. :)

Cheers Andy
