md80-90 question.

Postby HoratioWondersocks » 07 Nov 2012 17:46

Hello All
I have recently taken ownership of an MD83 (and jolly good it is too) I was just wondering if I can use that one model to fly ALL the MD80-90 flights ,and not have to download all the other available individual models.
Cheers Andy

Andy, no problem at all as long as the aircraft you use fits within the category for the flight you are flying ie if it is a DEJL flight then any aircraft that fits within that category can be used.

AirSource categorizes each aircraft type, DEJL is "Dual Engine Jet Large" as seen on this page under the [ View By Aircraft Category ] drop down box: http://www.air-source.us/Operations/Air ... rcraft.asp

Thank you Tom
A whole world of stats ,and a realization that I have even greater choices concerning aircraft.
PS Even found my own name(had no idea) in the A319 top ten pilots list. :D
PPS Perhaps I should have looked over the site a little more carefully.
Cheers to both yourself and Norm for clarifying things for me.
Andy
