HELLO EVERYBODY. AM USING FSX WITH VISTA NO PROBLEM. HOWEVER TO TRY AND FIND MORE AEROPLANES FOR AIRSOURCE I INSTALLED ALSO FS2004. IT OPENS BUT I CANNOT FLY ANY OF THE AEROPLANES THEY ALL APPEAR TO BE FROZEN. HAVE UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED SEVERAL TIMES. SAME RESULT. ANY IDEAS. THANKYOU.

go to flight1.com or just google flight1 registry repair kit. Download the software and run it. Choose repair fs9 registry. That might fix your problem.

Do you get sound and working gauges, just frozed scenery in window mode, but works fine in full mode?? If so, and this is for FS9, right click on your fs9.exe shortcut, click properties, click the compatibility tab, and check "disable visual themes" and press Apply. This will shut down Aero and run in basic mode. Hope this helps you!! In my case I had to do that and run the default flight, and then was able to go back and uncheck it.
