Worlds Longest Flight

where and which airline has the longest flight?i thought it was Singapore to JFK .....

Wikipedia says Singapore Airlines flight 21 - Newark to Singapore is the longest commercial flight. at 8,963 nm.

I assume it's operated by the 747?

Actually it's an Airbus 340-500. I've added Singapore flights 21 and 22 to the schedule for those of you who have nothing better to do but sit behind a computer screen for 15+ hours.

Edit:

Unfortunately, although the flights have been added to the schedule, due to the restriction in the search page we'll have to wait until Tom can expand the maximum hour and mileage since they are currently only 15 hours and 8,000 miles. Once this is done you'll be able to find the flights in the schedule.
